Description
Fields of Fire is a solitaire game where you command a rifle company through various missions and historical campaigns, from World War II to present day. The game stands out for its unique diceless and card-based mechanics, using two decks to build a map and control combat, command, and other activities. You'll lead your company, represented by counters for headquarters, squads, and vehicles, through a series of missions that can be played in about 1-4 hours each. As you progress, you'll manage experience and replacements across multiple missions, immersing yourself in the history of the 9th US Infantry Regiment, known as the "Manchus". With its modular board and campaign-driven gameplay, Fields of Fire offers a challenging and engaging experience that will keep you coming back for more, whether you're a fan of World War II, the Korean War, or Vietnam War history, or just looking for a thrilling solo game.
