Description

In Tragedy Looper: New Tragedies, you and your friends take on the roles of Protagonists trying to prevent a tragedy from unfolding, while one player acts as the Mastermind, determined to make it happen. With 2 to 4 players, this 60-minute game is all about deduction, communication, and strategy. As Protagonists, you'll travel back in time, trying to figure out how to stop the tragedy, but the Mastermind is always one step ahead, trying to mislead and trick you. You'll play cards, activate abilities, and trigger incidents to uncover information and move the events forward, all while building relationships with characters to unlock their special abilities. As you loop back in time, you'll gather more information and get closer to solving the mystery, but the Mastermind will adapt their strategy to keep you guessing. With 13 scripts and 30 characters to play with, each game is unique and challenging. The game's normal complexity makes it easy for experienced board game players to learn, and the included teaching guide and "First Steps" tragedy set help new players get started. Whether you're working together as Protagonists or plotting as the Mastermind, Tragedy Looper: New Tragedies is a thrilling game of cat and mouse that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
