Description
In Sakenobori, which translates to "salmon run", you'll be guiding your salmon upstream to lay eggs and collect ikura tokens. The game is designed for 3 to 5 players and can be learned quickly, with simple rules that get you started fast. A typical game lasts between 15 to 30 minutes, making it a great option for a fun, short play session. Players take turns laying down river cards and placing their salmon, trying to outmaneuver each other and avoid bears that can knock them out of the round. As you swim your salmon to new locations, you'll reveal hidden cards and collect ikura tokens based on your rank in the pyramid. The player who collects the most ikura by the end of the three rounds wins, with a bonus awarded in the final round for the top-ranked players.
