Description

Throneworld is a game of intergalactic conquest where 2 to 6 players embark on a journey to explore and dominate the cosmos. Starting from the edges of the board, players expand their territory, navigating through a hexagon grid, and battling their way towards the center of the universe, the coveted Throneworld. As they move inward, the challenges become increasingly tough, with more powerful units and advanced technologies to contend with. With 11 different unit types to choose from and four types of technology to master, players must strategically organize their fleets and plan their attacks to outmaneuver their opponents. The goal is to be the first to control a certain number of systems for a full turn, with the Throneworld itself worth a significant six systems. This classic 1997 game, designed by Thomas Lehmann, offers a complex and thrilling experience that will keep you engaged for hours, with a typical playtime of 270 minutes.
