Description

The time has come to claim the title of most influential mage in the World of Indines by becoming the new Chancellor at Argent University of Magic. You'll need to gather your apprentices, ready your spellbook, and build your influence while competing over the votes of a limited Consortium of influential board members. With secret criteria for victory and constantly changing opponent capabilities, you'll have to outwit the other candidates and use your spells at the right moment to succeed. As a cutthroat worker-placement game, Argent: The Consortium minimizes luck and focuses on player interaction and strong core mechanisms, allowing new strategies to emerge each time you play. With a playtime of 60 to 150 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your plan and outmaneuver your opponents in this game for 2 to 5 players.
