Description

Zener is a quick and simple yet strategic game for two players that can be learned in no time. Inspired by the Zener cards used in extrasensory perception experiments, this abstract strategy game is all about outmaneuvering your opponent. Each player has five pieces with unique symbols, and on their turn, they must move two different pieces - one mandatory and one free. The goal is to either be the first to cross the board with any piece or block all of your opponent's pieces by moving into the same quadrant, limiting their options. With a playtime of just 10 to 15 minutes, Zener is a great game for a quick tactical challenge. Designed by Carlos Seabra and published in 2018, it's a fun and engaging game that's easy to pick up but requires strategic thinking to win.
