Description

In True Messiah, you're a charismatic leader with divine powers, battling to be the last one standing in a post-apocalyptic world. The game is set in a near future where a machine called the Belief Engine has warped reality, causing civilization to crumble. You'll build temples, recruit followers, and mold their beliefs to perform miracles and destroy your rivals. With 2 to 4 players, the game is a thrilling mix of strategy and luck, as you navigate the complexities of auctioning, deck building, and grid movement. As you play, you'll move units, have followers pray to produce belief, and use that belief to perform miracles. Combat is deterministic, but the outcome is far from certain, as you'll need to manage your resources carefully to outmaneuver your opponents. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, True Messiah is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as you fight to be the true messiah and emerge victorious.
