Description
In Sunrise Lane, 2 to 4 players take on the role of construction companies building up a residential neighborhood. The goal is to pick the most prestigious plots of land to build houses and town structures. With easy-to-learn rules, players can dive right into the game, which typically lasts around 45 minutes. Designed by Reiner Knizia and published in 2023, Sunrise Lane combines area majority, chaining, and hand management mechanics to create a fun and strategic experience. As players build adjacent to existing structures, they must discard colored cards to match the space they're building on, scoring points based on the number of dots on the space and the number of houses they place. The game ends when a player has only two house pieces left, and then players score endgame points for the highest buildings, most buildings, and longest group of adjacent buildings.
