Description

In Songs of Far Shores: Omen Game 1, you and your sibling are half-god children of the Olympians, vying for the top spot as the greatest mortal offspring. The deathless have posed a challenge to determine the winner: sack three cities where the gods have hidden powerful Kraters, each infused with divine power. With a playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes, this game is perfect for a quick showdown between two players. You'll need to muster forces, including soldiers, beasts, seers, and muses, to sack these cities and recover the Kraters, all while trying to impress the gods with your triumphs and alliances. As you play, you'll spend coins to play units, resolve cities, and gain rewards, all in an effort to earn the most points and join the Olympians. The game features 22 unique unit cards and 6 unique Krater cards, each with its own traits and abilities, offering a fresh and exciting experience. With its normal complexity and familiar mechanics like area majority, hand management, and variable player powers, Songs of Far Shores is easy to learn and fun to play. Designed by John Clowdus and published in 2024, this standalone card game is a great addition to any gaming collection, and its compatibility with other new Omen games means you can mix and match to create new challenges and experiences.
