Description
Muscat is a game of strategic maneuvering, where 3 to 5 players compete to advance their street performers through the marketplaces of Muscat. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's a brain-burner that requires careful planning and a bit of luck. Players use a rock-paper-scissors mechanism, combined with tile placement and bribery, to establish local dominance hierarchies and kick their opponents' performers out on the street. As players progress, they can reach the Sultan's palace and score points based on how high their performers have advanced. But beware - performers who have been kicked out can seek revenge, either by being placed back on the board or by taking special actions that add a new layer of complexity to the game. With its unique blend of strategy and social interaction, Muscat is a game that will keep you on your toes for 45 minutes of exciting gameplay.
