Description

War Without Mercy is a epic wargame that drops you into the midst of World War II, specifically on the east front where the invasion of Poland sets the stage for a massive conflict. Designed by Rob Beyma and first published in 1998, this game is part of the Struggle for Europe series and offers a rich and immersive experience for 2 to 6 players. With a playtime of 360 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to dive deep into the strategy and tactics of the game, which features a hexagon grid and ratio/combat results table mechanics to simulate the battles. As you navigate the game's normal complexity rules, you'll be able to explore the entire east front, with units at division and corp level, and a scale of 30 miles per hex and two weeks per turn. What makes War Without Mercy really interesting is that it's designed to be part of a larger experience - when combined with the other two games in the series, you'll be able to play out the entire European and North African theater of World War II. Whether you're a seasoned board game enthusiast or just looking for a new challenge, War Without Mercy offers a unique and engaging experience that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
