Description
Crown of Ash is a game of strategic worker placement and area control for 1 to 4 players, where you take on the role of a vengeful necromancer seeking to claim the kingdom. After a hundred years of nightmarish dreams, the Lords have awoken with a thirst for power and the arcane knowledge of necromancy, allowing them to build armies from the wastes of their lands. You'll gather resources to raise powerful undead armies, build mighty structures to earn influence over the land, and march your army into battle to take control of other players' structures. Over 4 rounds, you'll earn influence points based on the structures you control, and the player with the most influence at the end of the game will rule the kingdom for eternity. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, Crown of Ash offers a deep and immersive gaming experience, perfect for fans of fantasy and medieval-themed games. Designed by Richard Lawton and published in 2024, this game is sure to challenge and entertain players familiar with board games, with its normal complexity rules and engaging gameplay mechanics.
