Description
In Violet and the Grumpy Nisse, a journey through the woods becomes a thrilling adventure for two players. Violet is on a mission to meet her friend Ordep, the friendly troll, but her path is blocked by Torech, a grumpy nisse who has claimed the woods as his domain. As Violet navigates through the woods, Torech tries to make her journey as unpleasant as possible, playing tricks on her and trying to scare her off. This trick-taking game is easy to learn and plays out in 20 to 30 minutes. With its unique blend of card drafting, trick-taking, and variable player powers, each game is different. Violet must manage her lantern and fear levels, while Torech uses his cunning and traps to try and stop her. The game's thematic design and changing trump cards keep players on their toes, making for a fun and engaging experience.
