Description
Get ready to catch some waves with Longboard, a fun and fast-paced card game for 2 to 4 players. Designed by Reiner Knizia and released in 2022, this game is all about building the coolest and biggest longboards to establish your surfboard-shaping shop as the best in town. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be drafting and trading surfboard pieces in no time, trying to build the tallest and most surfboards. On each turn, you'll take two actions, adding cards to your supply, building or lengthening a board, or trading cards with opponents. The goal is to complete boards with at least four cards, earning points for stickers on each board. The game ends when a player has 3-4 complete boards or the deck runs out, and players score points for their completed boards, with bonuses for the longest board, most boards, or completing special objectives. With playtime lasting just 20 to 30 minutes, Longboard is a great game for a quick and exciting surf-themed adventure.
