Island Fortress

Description

In Island Fortress, you're a master builder tasked with constructing the mighty Fort Aldenford on Alcott Island. With the help of your Taskmaster, Workers, and Governor Cortland Hansen, you aim to become the most distinguished architect. You'll use a deck of Role Cards to plot your actions, such as purchasing workers, building the wall, and collecting money from the treasury. As you build the fortress wall, you'll score points for completing rows and gain bonuses for following the Governor's preferred patterns. With 2 to 4 players competing, the game is a fun and challenging experience that lasts around 45 to 90 minutes. Designed by Bryan Johnson and first published in 2013, Island Fortress offers a unique blend of auction and pattern building mechanics that will keep you engaged and entertained.
