Description

The Wizards Cup is a magical dueling tournament that takes place once every century, and you're about to experience it firsthand. As the king of a country, you'll select the six best wizards from your kingdom and decide the order in which they'll compete. Your role is to build the best team you can, anticipating how your opponent might attack, and then watch your trusted wizards battle it out. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be dueling in no time, and the game's short playtime of 15 to 30 minutes makes it perfect for a quick showdown. In this deck construction game, you'll start with a set of 18 cards and choose five wizards to form your deck, with the sixth waiting in the wings. As you reveal your top wizard and engage in duels, you'll need to resolve wizard powers and compare elements to determine the winner. The losing wizard will head to the discard pile, and the victorious wizard will continue to duel until one player has no cards remaining. With the ability to swap out wizards and adjust your strategy between rounds, you'll need to stay on your toes to claim those two victory tokens and emerge as the champion of the Wizards Cup. Designed by Seiji Kanai and published in 2023, this fantasy card game is a thrilling fight for two players, and only the most skilled wizard will reign supreme.
