Description
In Villannex, you're one of the mayors gathered for a friendly meeting that quickly turns into a competition to see who has the best developed village. With a few drinks flowing, the bragging begins, and it's up to you to show off your village's strengths. The game is simple to learn, with easy-to-explain rules that get you started quickly, and plays out over just 5 to 15 minutes, making it a great fit for a quick gaming session with friends or family, whether you're playing solo or with up to four players. As you play, you'll draft cards to build your village, choosing which buildings and production cards to use to earn the most points. The twist is that you'll be making your decisions simultaneously with the other players, adding a fun layer of strategy and unpredictability to the game. With its unique blend of card drafting and simultaneous action selection, Villannex is a city-building game that's all about using your resources wisely and outdoing your opponents to become the next mayor. Designed by Takahiro Amioka and first published in 2016, Villannex has been updated with a second edition and expansions, offering even more ways to build and compete with your village.
