In Woe to the Living, you're a spooky spectral force that thrives on terror. You haunt the night, making people walk a little faster and lock their doors tighter. Your goal is to cultivate just the right amount of terror - too much and your victims die, too little and you go hungry. The game is simple to learn and plays quickly, with 3 to 5 players competing over 15 minutes. You'll need to carefully select your prey and use a sneaky card swapping mechanic to get the cards you need and sabotage your opponents. The aim is to have the second highest total terror at the end of the game, which is easier said than done with other players trying to outdo you. With its unique blend of memory, set collection, and trading, Woe to the Living is a thrilling card game that's all about finding the perfect balance of fear and strategy.
