Description

In Overtime, you and your friends take on the roles of office workers trying to finish their assignments and be the first to head home. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to a wide range of players, and with 3 to 6 players able to join in, it's a great option for a fun night with friends. As you play, you'll start as an Average Joe, but as the game progresses, you can become different employee stereotypes, like the Office Buddy or the Slacker, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Your goal is to get rid of all your assignment cards, and you can do this by working hard and honestly, or by playing a little dirty and passing off your tasks to your opponents. The game is a satirical take on the familiar experience of working late to meet a deadline, and it's full of opportunities for sabotage and strategy. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Overtime is a quick and competitive race to see who can finish their tasks first. If no one manages to complete their assignments by the end of the 8th turn, the game ends with no winner, adding an extra layer of tension to the gameplay. Designed by Pavle Ilijasevic and published in 2019, Overtime is a fun and lighthearted card game that's perfect for anyone who's ever had to work overtime.
