Description

In Paupers' Ladder, you're a pauper competing in a tournament to succeed the beloved ruler Garolium Scraggart, who rose from hardship to the highest rank in the royal court. With your bird companion, explore the wild land of Brighthelm, battling creatures, undertaking quests, and discovering new wonders. The goal is to learn three of the five virtues: generosity, fellowship, bravery, knowledge, and magnificence, which can be achieved in various ways, such as discarding gems from your purse to learn generosity. As you navigate the land, use your Pauper and Bird to move through regions, exploring and encountering new things. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can enjoy this exciting game, which typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes. With over 400 cards and a richly illustrated playing board, Paupers' Ladder offers a unique and engaging experience, where strategy and luck come together to determine the ultimate winner.
