Description

Kryptos is a clever card game that's all about deduction and trivia, designed by Peter Neugebauer and published in 2012. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you can dive right into the fun, which typically lasts around 20 minutes. The game is designed for solo play, making it a great option for when you're flying solo. The goal is to solve puzzles using a series of hints, and the faster you solve them, the more points you score. Each of the 50 cards in the game comes with three hints, and it's up to you to figure out the solution. The hints start out cryptic, with a combination of numbers and letters, and gradually become more revealing, ending with a sketch that should help you crack the code. For example, you might start with a hint like T7WW, followed by a phrase like The 7 W of the W, and finally a sketch of a pyramid, which would lead you to the solution "The 7 Wonders of the World". With its unique blend of deduction and trivia, Kryptos is a challenging and engaging game that will keep you on your toes and eager to solve the next puzzle.
