Worldspanner Factions, Set 1: Heroes is a game that combines the best of tactical RPG and adventure, bringing a unique intensity to the table. Designed by Brett G. Murrell and released in 2024, this base game is the starting point for a vast and immersive gaming experience. For 2 to 8 players, divided into two teams, the game takes place in the Worldspanner Arena, where heroes from past, present, and future compete to earn the most glory. With a playtime of 150 to 240 minutes, players will have plenty of time to strategize and work together to achieve their goals. The game features a modular board, grid movement, and line of sight mechanics, making each play different and exciting. With 49 heroes, 90 treasures, and a selection of map pieces, the possibilities are endless. Players can earn alliances with one of the six factions, or the queen mother of the Games, and compete in non-combat activities to earn objective points.
