Description
Pax Porfiriana is a game of building business empires and subverting opponents in the turbulent pre-revolutionary borderlands of the U.S. and Mexico. Players take on the role of rich businessmen, competing to accumulate wealth and power by acquiring ranches, mines, rails, troops, and banks. They must also navigate the complex web of politics and intrigue, using bandidos, Native Americans, and lawsuits to outmaneuver their opponents. With a unique blend of economic and political gameplay, Pax Porfiriana offers a challenging and unpredictable experience for 1 to 6 players. The game's 220 cards ensure that no two games are the same, and its complex rules and multiple paths to victory make it a game that will keep you coming back for more. Will you be the one to topple the dictator Porfirio Díaz and emerge victorious, or will you accumulate the most gold and win by default?
