Description
In Notre Dame, you take on the role of a wealthy Parisian family in the 14th century, competing to improve the city quarter around the famous cathedral. As the head of your family, you'll use action cards to advance your power and prestige, but beware - neglecting the health of your borough's people will come with penalties. The game is simple to learn, but complex in its implications, as each choice you make will have a lasting impact on your progress. Over the course of 45 to 75 minutes, you'll navigate the challenges of the game, balancing your influence and prestige with the ever-present threat of the plague. With 2 to 5 players, the competition is fierce, and only the most strategic player will emerge victorious. Designed by Stefan Feld, Notre Dame is a classic game of economic and Renaissance-era strategy, with a unique blend of area majority, drafting, and point-to-point movement mechanics that will keep you engaged until the very end.
