Description
In Arkwright, you'll take on the role of a factory owner in 18th century England, competing to have the most valuable block of shares. To succeed, you'll need to increase your share value and buy shares from the bank, all while managing your factories and workforce. You'll hire workers, replace them with machines, and improve your factories to increase output and quality. As you navigate the game, you'll fix prices for your goods, make sales promotions, and react to your opponents' strategies. With multiple paths to victory, you can choose to focus on a few factories or spread your efforts across all four. The game offers a range of options, from a shorter 120-minute version to a more complex 240-minute game with additional strategies and mechanics. With its complex rules and deep gameplay, Arkwright is a challenging and rewarding experience for experienced board game enthusiasts.
