Get ready to take your Abducktion experience to the next level with the IntergalacDuck Research Expansion, designed by Josh Roberts and Evan Katz. Released in 2023, this expansion is perfect for 1 to 6 players and can be learned in no time, making it easy for new players to jump in on the fun. With the introduction of the Research Pod, a mini spaceship that can hold two ducks, you'll be able to collect ducks in wild new formations, adding a fresh layer of strategy to the game. The Research Pod can be docked to your board in any orientation, giving you more flexibility and options to outmaneuver your opponents. The IntergalacDuck Research Expansion also brings GLITTER DUCKS to the table, a brand new breed of duck that behaves differently and can be used to clog up your opponents' boards early on, only to become a valuable asset by the end of the game. With 20 new challenging Formation Cards and 40 extra ducks, you'll have plenty of opportunities to earn higher points and outscore your friends. Games with the expansion typically last between 25 to 40 minutes, making it a great addition to your game nights.
