Description

Tasso is a fast-paced and thrilling game that's all about strategy and a little bit of luck. Designed by Philippe Proux and first hitting the shelves back in 2004, this abstract strategy game is perfect for a quick gaming session with friends or family, taking just 30 minutes to play. What makes Tasso really stand out is its unique blend of planning and physical skill - players need to balance their sticks carefully to avoid toppling the tower, all while outmaneuvering their opponents. The gameplay is simple to learn, but that doesn't mean it's easy to master. Each player starts with the same number of sticks, and takes turns placing them on the game board or on top of sticks already laid down. The catch is that whenever a player manages to place a stick on top of two other sticks, they get to take another turn right away. This can lead to some really exciting moments, as players try to build up a stable tower while also blocking their opponents from making their moves. With two to six players able to join in, Tasso is a great game for a small gathering or a big group of friends. The combination of abstract strategy and physical dexterity makes Tasso a really unique and engaging experience. Players need to think carefully about where to place their sticks, taking into account the delicate balance of the tower and the moves their opponents are likely to make. But they also need to have a steady hand and a good sense of spatial awareness, as the slightest miscalculation can send the whole tower crashing down. With its simple rules and short playtime, Tasso is a great game for players of all ages and skill levels, and its thrilling gameplay is sure to keep you coming back for more.
