Description

Get ready to dive into the world of World War II with West of Alamein, a thrilling expansion to the Advanced Squad Leader series. This game takes you to the North African desert, where you'll command the British 8th Army as they clash with the Deutsches Afrika Korps in intense battles from 1941-43. With West of Alamein, you'll have access to the entire British order of battle, including all the vehicles, ordnance, and support weapons used by British and Commonwealth forces throughout the war. As you play, you'll navigate the challenges of desert combat, from dust and heat haze to sun blindness, using the special rules outlined in Chapter F of the ASL rules. The game comes with five mounted mapboards, including four that depict the open desert and a fifth that represents a rugged hill mass in Tunisia. With the Design-Your-Own system, you can create your own scenarios, adding endless variety to the game. West of Alamein includes eight scenarios, four of which can be played using the ASL rules and Beyond Valor, while the other four require additional components from Yanks. Whether you're a seasoned wargamer or just looking for a new challenge, West of Alamein is sure to deliver hours of exciting gameplay.
