Description
Get ready to build your way to greatness in Akropolis: Athena, the exciting new expansion to the Akropolis base game. In this 25-minute game for 1 to 4 players, you'll compete to create the most prestigious city in the Ancient Mediterranean, all while gaining the favor of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war, and artisans. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be able to dive right in and start building your city, using layering and tile placement mechanics to bring your vision to life. As you play, you'll need to complete specific Construction cards by building layouts within your city that match the cards. This will earn you parts of the Statue of Athena and valuable Mini-tiles to enhance your city. With each Construction card completed, you'll gain additional points and advantages, but be careful - each card can only be completed once, so you'll need to manage your resources and placements carefully. The game concludes when the Construction Site is almost empty, and the player with the most points, earned through their clever city-building and completion of the Statue of Athena, will be declared the winner.
