They Live: The Card Game – Save The City/Enslave The City is a thrilling multiplayer experience that combines strategy, teamwork, and deception. Designed by Luke Melia and released in 2023, this game is perfect for 3 to 6 players who are familiar with board games, as the rules are of normal complexity. In this asymmetrical card game, players work collectively to survive, but not everyone is playing for the same team. Hidden among the group are secret Invaders determined to capture the city, and it's up to the humans to figure out who they are before it's too late. As the game unfolds, each turn brings new resources to the table, including weapons, ammunition, and city parts. Players must act fast to take and equip the cards they need, all while trying to stay one step ahead of their opponents. The Invaders must stay hidden and act human, collecting city cards to capture different areas of the city, while the humans must work together to take down the traitors in their midst. With a playtime of 30 to 60 minutes, this game is a wild ride that's full of twists and turns, keeping players on the edge of their seats as they battle to save or enslave the city.
