Description

Knjaz'ja is a fast-paced card game that drops you into the midst of early medieval Russia, where you'll navigate the intricate world of politics, economics, strategy, and luck. As one of 3 to 8 players, you'll take on the role of a prince or land lord, vying for control and glory in the Kievan Rus'. With simple yet engaging mechanics, you'll perform one action per turn, choosing to draw a card, play a card, or launch an assault on another player's city. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can dive in and out of the medieval world without a huge time commitment. As you play, you'll collect cards featuring cities, buildings, armies, and events, each with its own unique abilities and point values. Cities and buildings earn you Glory Points, which are your ticket to victory. But beware - other players can capture your cities, and you'll need to defend them with armies or use events to turn the tide in your favor. The game can end in one of two ways: when the deck runs out, or when the dreaded "Mongol invasion" event card is drawn, bringing the game to a sudden close. With its unique blend of strategy, luck, and medieval flair, Knjaz'ja is a thrilling game that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
