Description

Linkage is a quick and clever abstract strategy game designed by Ethan Larson, first published in 2009. In this 10-minute game for two players, you'll engage in a battle of wits, trying to outmaneuver your opponent through clever tile placement. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but don't let that fool you - the game requires strategic thinking to come out on top. As one of the two players, you'll take on the role of either "More" or "Fewer", with opposing goals that will keep you on your toes. Your goal is to either create a board with many distinct groups of cells of the same color, or to limit the number of these groups to fewer than 12. With a shared pool of 24 pieces, each covering exactly two cells of the board, you'll need to think carefully about each move.
