Description

In Viroid, 2 to 4 players take on the role of a virus, working together to infect people all over the world and ultimately save the planet from human destruction. The game is set in a science fiction world where players use events like the Olympic Games to spread their deadly effects, developing special features like infection by blood or resistance against medicine to stay one step ahead of human scientists. As players take turns, they draw event cards, spread their virus, and develop new features to increase their chances of success. The goal is to place all dead tokens in cities before the draw pile runs out or humans make enough healing progress. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes and normal complexity, Viroid is an engaging cooperative game that challenges players to work together to reduce the human population and save the planet.
