In the land of Skaaland, things are about to get wild as 3 to 6 players compete to become the most respected clan of dwarves. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be diving into the action in no time, trying to outdo your opponents in a 60-minute battle for supremacy. Designed by Docteur Mops and first published in 2004, Skåål is a game of exploration, fantasy, and humor that's all about becoming the ultimate Skaal. You'll need to prospect for gold, brew beer, and outmaneuver your opponents to earn respect points and claim the top spot. As you navigate the game board, representing the regions and villages of Skaaland, you'll have to think strategically about which actions to take. With only one action allowed per turn, you'll need to decide whether to bring in new dwarves, move existing ones, search for gold, or open a tavern to gain an advantage. But beware - the dwarves can be a little unpredictable, and rumors of gold discoveries can spread quickly, drawing in unwanted attention. And if you're lucky enough to corner the market on beer, you can earn respect points from your opponents' drunken dwarves.
