Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress is a thrilling dungeon crawl adventure board game where players take on the role of courageous Heroes fighting against evil creatures and demons in Feudal Japan. The game features a modular board, cooperative gameplay, and variable player powers, making each playthrough unique and exciting. With 1 to 4 players, you'll embark on immersive adventures, exploring a feudal castle overrun with demons, ghosts, and monsters inspired by Japanese myth and legend. As you brave the Forbidden Fortress, you'll encounter terrifying foes, including massive Oni, deadly Tengu sword masters, and the ghostly Harionago. The game includes 27 multi-piece hard plastic miniatures, over 250 game cards, and a double-sided map tile, offering massive replayability. With its built-in campaign system, you can keep your Hero characters from game to game, gaining new skills and abilities as you progress. Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress can be played standalone or combined with other Shadows of Brimstone products, making it a great introduction for new players or a exciting addition for veteran players.
