Get ready for a swashbuckling adventure with SlackJack, a thrilling party game designed by Travis Magrum and Joel Colombo. In this fast-paced game, 4 to 8 players take on hidden pirate roles, each with their own unique powers and values. The goal is to convince the captain to pick you for their crew, but beware - there's a traitor lurking among you, waiting to steal all the treasure for themselves. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time, navigating the ups and downs of pirate life in just 10 to 20 minutes. As the captain chooses their crew, the remaining players form their own treasure hunting party, and all roles are revealed. The team that gets closest to 21 in pirate value will win gold, but if the captain picks the sneaky SlackJack, they'll be walking the plank with all the loot. The game is a wild ride, with each round bringing new surprises and challenges. Play passes from player to player, with the goal of being the first to collect 5 gold pieces - enough to retire to a tropical island, free from traitors and treasure hunts.
