Description

Scruffy's Treasure Hunt is a thrilling adventure for 2 to 4 players that's all about accumulating the most valuable treasure hoard on the tropical shores of Porthole Island. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time. Each player chooses a character and sets off to explore and excavate the vast beach, rolling dice and moving around the board to place digs on dig tiles. The tiles come in different difficulties, from light sand that requires just one dig to tricky X tiles that need four, keeping you on your toes as you strategize your next move. As you dig up the beach, you'll flip tiles to reveal rewards or traps, drawing from a range of decks and collecting Monies coins along the way. With categories like fantasy, humor, and pirates, this game is full of surprises and excitement. After the entire beach has been dug up, players count their treasure and add endgame bonuses to their score, with the player amassing the most Monies declared the winner. With a playtime of just 45 to 60 minutes, Scruffy's Treasure Hunt is the perfect way to spend an evening with friends, combining elements of economic strategy, territory building, and good old-fashioned luck. Published in 2020 and designed by David M. Jones, this base game is a must-try for anyone looking for a fun and engaging board game experience.
