Description
Escape from Colditz is a thrilling adventure game where 2 to 6 players take on the roles of Escape Officers and a Security Officer. The Escape Officers work together to acquire the necessary equipment for a successful escape, such as ropes and wire cutters, while the Security Officer tries to thwart their plans by throwing them in solitary confinement and confiscating their gear. This classic game, first published in 1973, is easy to learn and plays out over 180 minutes. With its unique blend of grid movement, card drafting, and set collection, Escape from Colditz is a challenging and immersive experience. The game's historical context, set during World War II, adds an extra layer of excitement and authenticity, especially given that one of its designers, Major P.R. Reid, was a real-life escapee from Colditz.
