Description
Flagship: Prometheus Unchained is a card game of tactical starship combat that's easy to learn and fun to play. Designed by Dan Verssen, this 2002 game is set in a science fiction universe where players can choose from two galactic races, the Heisenberg Dynasty and the Freeman Followers. With a playtime of 180 minutes, players have plenty of time to engage in epic battles, using a point system to select their fleet, including a Flagship and a Commander. In a basic tactical skirmish scenario, players align their ships to maximize their firepower, considering optimal ranges for direct, boarding, and guiding attacks. The game ends when one player's Flagship is destroyed, but there are other scenarios available with different victory conditions and formats of gameplay, offering plenty of replayability for 2 to 4 players.
