Description

In Liebrary, players get to unleash their inner authors and try to fool each other with their best attempts at writing the first line of a real book. The game is simple to learn, but that's what makes it so much fun - anyone can jump in and start playing right away. One player takes on the role of reader, sharing the title, author, and synopsis of a book, and then the other players have to come up with their own first lines. The reader collects all the submissions, including the real first line, and then the other players have to guess which one is the genuine article. As players try to bluff each other into thinking their line is the real deal, they earn points for choosing the correct first line, convincing others to pick their submission, or even just knowing the real line before it's revealed. The reader gets points too, but only if they can stump the other players and keep the real first line under wraps. With its unique blend of wordplay and bluffing, Liebrary is a game that's all about having fun with words and books. Whether you're a bookworm or just love to play games with friends, Liebrary is a great choice for a group of 3 to 6 players looking for a fun and lively game that's easy to learn and plays out in about 60 minutes.
