Description
Get ready for a thrilling 15-minute battle with 7: The Defense of Lwów, a simple yet strategic war game for two players. Designed by Karol Madaj and published in 2015, this game takes you back in time to the Polish-Soviet war in 1920, where you'll play as either the commander of the 7th Fighter Escadrille defending Lwów or the commander of the 1st Cavalry Army trying to capture the city. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be rolling dice and moving units on a hexagon grid in no time, using simulation mechanics to outmaneuver your opponent. As the Polish player, you'll have access to three Ansaldos A-1 fighters, using special dice to attack Soviet units and bombs that can be refilled at airbases. Meanwhile, the Soviet player will be trying to reach Lwów with ten cavalry units, using limited attack options to defend against the Polish fighters. The game ends when the Soviets run out of time or capture Lwów, and with two variants to choose from, you can play a basic game or add additional rules for intermediate and advanced players, allowing you to tally points and compare scores. With its unique blend of aviation, education, and wargame elements, 7: The Defense of Lwów is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick showdown with a friend.
