Description
In Orient Express, you're part of the railroad boom sweeping across Europe, connecting disparate regions for business and recreation. As you build your lines, you'll need to navigate the delicate balance between private and public demands. Your goal is to create the most valuable passenger routes, including some of the most famous railroads in Europe. With 2 to 5 players, you'll compete to build the most efficient network, choosing which regions to build in and which ones to connect. The game is all about adaptability, as Regional Company routes are nationalized and removed from the board when scored. This means you'll need to be strategic and flexible to stay ahead. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, Orient Express offers a fun and challenging experience for board game enthusiasts. The normal complexity rules make it easy to learn, even for those familiar with other train-themed games like its predecessor, 20th Century Limited.
