Description

Cartagena is a pirate-themed board game where players take on the role of a group of six pirates trying to escape from the fortress of Cartagena. The game is simple to learn and can be explained quickly, making it accessible to a wide range of players. With 2 to 5 players, the game takes around 30 to 45 minutes to play, and the goal is to be the first to have all six pirates escape through the underground passage to the waiting sloop. Players use cards to move their pirates forward, but they can also move backwards to draw more cards, adding a strategic layer to the game.
