Description

In Paperback, you take on the role of a paperback author trying to finish novels for your editor, completing Westerns, Science Fiction, Romance, or even the rare Best-Seller. The game combines word-building with deck-building, making for a unique and engaging experience. You start with a deck of letter cards and wild cards, forming words and purchasing more powerful letters based on how well your word scored. As you play, most letters have abilities that activate when used in a word, such as drawing more cards or doubling letter score. You can buy wilds to gain victory points, and with the option for cooperative play, you can team up with friends to achieve your literary goals. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 45 minutes, Paperback is a fun and challenging game for 2 to 5 players, perfect for those who love word games and deck-building mechanics.
