Description

Perfect Words is a cooperative game that's all about working together to create a crossword puzzle and then trying to figure out the connections between the words. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 6 players can jump into a game that lasts around 15 to 30 minutes. Designed by Paul-Henri Argiot and published in 2023, Perfect Words combines elements of communication, deduction, and tile placement to create a unique and engaging experience. Players use Word cards and Arrow tiles to build the puzzle, and then discuss and try to make sense of the grid they've created. As players try to guess the associations between the words, they'll write down their ideas on note sheets and then reveal them to the group. The goal is to find associations that a majority of players agree on, earning points in the form of Shell and Perfect tokens. The more players who agree on an association, the more points the group earns. With a competitive variant and adjustable difficulty levels, Perfect Words is a game that can be enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels.
