Description

In Epoch: Early Inventors, you take on the role of a clan leader, exploring the landscape and discovering new tools to gather status. The game is very thematic, trying to stay close to reality, and is designed by award-winning game author Martyn F. You'll build a landscape of hexagonal playing cards and holy places, then carry out actions like gathering food, hunting, and exploring to develop new cards and offer materials to holy places. As you play, you'll need to manage food and raw materials like wood, flax, and stone to develop cards and take actions. Developing cards gives you access to new tools and equipment, like rope making or sowing, which can be used to your advantage. The game is over after 14-20 rounds, and the player with the most status wins. With its modular board and simulation mechanics, Epoch: Early Inventors offers a fun and challenging experience for 1 to 4 players.
