Description
In Belaad: The Land of Swords and Quills, players are transported to a medieval world where knowledge is power and three teams vie for control. The Kingdom and The People compete to hire the most Scholars, who provide valuable scientific symbols that count as victory points, while The Hashashin seek to kill these Scholars and disrupt the balance of power. With 2 to 6 players, the game is divided into teams, each with unique characters and special abilities. As players take turns playing action cards, they can strengthen their team's characters, gain coins, declare war, and hire Scholars. The game is played over four eras, with different Scholars emerging each era. Victory points are gained through scientific discoveries and military conquests, and the team with the most points at the end of the fourth era prevails. With its engaging gameplay and medieval theme, Belaad: The Land of Swords and Quills offers a thrilling experience for fans of card games and strategy.
