Description

In Sahara Search, you and up to three friends take on the roles of archaeologists on a mission to uncover the treasures of the desert. This cooperative game is all about working together to collect as many valuable treasures as possible, and with its simple rules, you can dive right in and start digging. The game is set up with a tableau of face-down cards, representing the Desert Dig area, where only the top card of each row is available for play. Each player is dealt a hand of action cards that allow them to move cards, search the dig field, dig in a column, or load treasures onto the camel train. As you play, you'll need to navigate obstacles like "No Trespassing" cards that block your path and require you to use limited "Deal" cards to access the treasures you need. The game ends when the camel train is loaded with 15 treasures, and then it's time to tally up your score. With a perfect game score of 115, the challenge is on to work together and make the most of your desert dig. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, Sahara Search is a quick and exciting adventure that's perfect for a fun evening with friends or family. Designed by Jim Deacove and first published in 2010, this game has been delighting players for years with its unique blend of exploration and hand management.
