Description
In the City of Splendors, powerful lords vie for control and treasure in Lords of Waterdeep, a strategy board game for 2 to 5 players. As a masked Lord of Waterdeep, you'll recruit adventurers to complete quests on your behalf, earning rewards and increasing your influence over the city. You'll expand the city by purchasing new buildings, opening up new actions and opportunities to hinder or help your opponents. Through a combination of completing quests, constructing buildings, and playing Intrigue cards, you'll accrue points and resources over the course of 8 rounds. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, Lords of Waterdeep is a great game for fans of city building and fantasy. Will you emerge as the most powerful lord, or will your opponents outmaneuver you? There's only one way to find out in this game of strategy and intrigue.
