Description

Midway is a classic World War II naval wargame that drops you into the midst of one of the most pivotal battles in history. Designed by Lindsley Schutz and first published in 1964, this 2-player game is easy to learn but offers a depth of strategy that will keep you coming back for more. Each player has their own map of the Midway Island area, which they use to search for the enemy fleet by flying search planes and calling out zone coordinates. As you search for and engage the enemy, the game moves to a separate battle board where ships and planes are placed on a grid to resolve attacks. With additional rules for CAP fighters, surface actions, and more, the game offers a high level of realism and complexity. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun and challenging experience, Midway is a great choice, especially with a neutral referee to enable true double-blind play.
